answer:I was innocently lying in my grassy backyard looking at clouds one manic day. I rolled to my side to stare face to face with a tick perched atop a blade of grass. A few run-ins with scorpions and rattlesnakes after that; I don’t lay down on the grass anymore. central texas, btw. I think they’re pretty much anywhere furry creatures are.
