answer:When, less and less often, I bring something new in (like a new mop), I get rid of two things. If I buy a new t-shirt, I cut up two old ones for rags. As I age, I find I need less and less; every item that I used to think was a treasure has to be dusted, polished or repaired. I take books, DVDs and CDs from the library or listen the the radio; I swap plants and seeds with my gardener friends; I give away any doodad or trinket that someone admires and I am hoping that my nephew will furnish his small week-end home from my store of possessions. Now that banks, brokerage houses, docs and dentists have my info in their data bases, I keep very little real paper…mainly five years of back tax returns and the docs. to support it.
