answer:Snow Leopard is two updates ago… yes? Is it that your older MB doesn’t have the specs needed for Lion or Mountain Lion? We had that on my older iMac, so I think it is stuck on Snow Leopard. However, I don’t recall if we updated online or got physical disks. I can ask my IIT guy (a.k.a. my fiancé) when I get a chance. If you have an independent Apple-authorized computer shop near you, they should have it – maybe not to sell, but to install the update on your device. You could also check the many Apple forums out there, as well as eBay and Craig’s List.
