Most likely it is the same strain you have had, but, impossible to say for sure. The average incubation period for most viruses is a few days, but it is still possible he picked up another strain somewhere else. You will know soon enough I think. haha A lot of people do not realize that the most contagious period for most viruses is when the host is still pre-symptomatic. This is why when people claim they came down sick within a day of being around a sick person, they are completely off, they were most likely exposed days before. The only exception is the intestinal flu which often does come on within about 12 hours of exposure.
