answer:Like any social movement, the Summer of Love had an influence on the people of that era. Many of us who are still alive have had our lives affected/changed, but for future generations, I doubt there is much to be said. Young people today have no memory of not being allowed to wear what they want, when they want, or people being excluded from employment because of their religion or race. Like the freedoms gained by the black people of the 1960’s, the current generation think it’s always been like this. They have no idea what sit in the back of the bus meant, or white only drinking fountains.
