answer:I’m no car expert, but I did just purchase one. I ended up getting a 2013 model with 1400 miles on it that the dealership had used as a loaner car, but no one else had actually owned it. The warranty was even better on this “certified pre-owned” car than a brand new one. I was pretty excited about it. If you can get a good deal on a pre-owned 2011–2013, I’d go with that versus something brand new. You’re in good shape with a Honda as far as mechanics, so the money would be the only difference. Buying something brand new at sticker price puts you crazy upside down on your loan as soon as you drive off the lot. If you’re not leasing it, it probably doesn’t matter much. Just make sure you get something with a good warranty.
