As it purely pertains to science, what does, "Survival of the Fittest" mean?

1 Answer

Answer :

Survival of the one who is best adapted to the environment it lives in. Example: Penguin vs Lion. Easy you might say, right? The lion has sharp teeth and claws, and is faster, stronger and smarter than the penguin. So the lion should completely trounce the penguin, right? But if you drop them both in the antarctic, the lion will die, and the penguin will survive.
