What kinds of shirts are good for someone busty who needs to dress business casual?

answer:A button down is usually the first thing they tell you to buy for a business casual wardrobe. It’s simple and versatile, so you can wear it with anything. It’s one of those basic staples that’s the foundation of a wardrobe. I can’t wear button downs either, for the same reason. (The struggle is real!) Through lots of trial and error, I’ve found some cute blouses that do basically the same thing. When you’re just starting a business casual wardrobe, you should look for slacks, skirts, and blouses that are comfortable and flattering in solid colors. This isn’t the time to get fancy. With solid colors, you can wear the same thing with in different combinations or with different accessories, and you don’t have to own as many. Eshakti.com has amazing clothes in pretty much every size, and they’ll tailor it before sending to you. Everything I’ve gotten from them has fit perfectly and been super flattering. I’m 5’2, a size 16, and have a D cup, so it’s AMAZING to find clothes that fit and are flattering without having to be altered. A simple dress can also be a great business casual outfit, and it’s more flattering and feminine than a button down with slacks. Most of my work wardrobe is actually dresses. Back to the cute blouses, though. The rest of your outfit has to be up to standard, because a blouse doesn’t always say “professional” the way a button down does. That means nice, structured slacks or skirts that fit you properly. Once you do that, it gives you a lot of leeway to wear flowy, drape-y blouses. Something like this might seem casual on its own, but if you tuck it into a crisp skirt you’ve got an outfit. I also own something very much like this. With a camisole under it, it’s basically seasonless and goes with everything. It also helps if you look for sturdy, high-quality clothes. If I had $20 to spend on a top for work, I would shop the end of season closeouts at a place like Ann Taylor or Nordstrom, rather than buy something at the regular price from Old Navy or Target. Expensive-looking clothes have better structure and look more professional. Whenever possible, I buy summer clothes in winter and winter clothes in summer. Is saves a lot of money. Good luck!
