It isn’t as interesting, since the major figures largely stay the same. As far as I understand it, the mid-term elections are more likely to affect how easily policies are passed into law than the formation of policies themselves. But it does still impact the rest of the world, as it can increase or decrease the likelihood of fiascos like the debt ceiling rubbish that nearly sank the world economy.
