I don’t think that’s what you’re driving at, but that’s how it reads, a bit. Anyway, I’m definitely in the “have not” part of the spectrum, and not only is paying off my house nowhere in my line of sight, ever being able to own a home seems less and less plausible as time goes by. My current goals include moving into a rental home that isn’t literally falling apart, and being able to afford food without state assistance.
