The fraudster might pretend to be an IRS agent, or a credit card operator, or a Microsoft agent, or even a long lost grandchild. These people deserve to rot in a shallow grave. I had a call from someone doing the Microsoft scam and I just kept him on the line as long as I could to mess with him and reduce hisr ability to bother someone else.
