answer:Start with a Google search asking for “airfare from X City to Amsterdam on X date, 2017.” That will give you a good idea of fares. I do that, and then I go directly to the airline I want and buy directly from them. If a situation arises and I need help with my reservations, I have learned it’s best to talk directly to the airline and not a 3rd party purchaser like Expedia.
