Is it true that eclipse glasses are good for only 3 years?

1 Answer

Answer :

I don’t know what kind of film your particular glasses are but I’m going to say they are probably not going to of a material that will not degrade. I would not expose them to the elements. rain, snow, heat sunlight. Keep them in a folder labelled “Eclipse” and you should be good to go in 2024. I bought some solar film for telescope 15 yeas ago and it is still perfect.
