It’s hard to guess. The FARC rebels in Colombia are pretty much washed up and leaderless. They don’t seem to have any reason to exist any more, and certainly not with the passion they did 30 years ago. They are pretty limp right now. So the question is: would they get involved supporting Maduro? I don’t see how it is in their interests to do so. What does FARC get out of it? Maduro calls himself a left-wing leader, but he acts like a right-wing dictator. Why would FARC lend its support to him? Bottomline: It doesn’t make sense.
