What is an interesting misperception people have of you?

Answer :

Most people assume I read a lot, including books. I almost never read a book. I read articles I’m interested in, but no regularity to it. I read things like fluther if you even want to count that. I watch quite a bit of TV, and would much rather learn things via video or a movie, or someone telling me. I take it as a compliment that people think I read a lot, but I’m annoyed at the judgement and condescension people have towards people like me. I don’t know if it’s still true, but some people have told me they thought I would be snobby and unfriendly when they first saw me, but then once they actually talked to me they realized how wrong their assumption was. Maybe how I carry myself? Not sure why? Or, their own insecurity maybe? It’s not like everyone has thought that about me. I haven’t heard it in a while, so maybe now that I’m older, and a little more weight on me, and posture not as good as it was, and a few more wrinkles, maybe I look more benign now. Women tend to be overlooked as they age in general.

Description : An interesting question for me: How do you read the emotions of an Asian face (of Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, etc.) or how do you know what is the person thinking?

Last Answer : For me, Asian faces are just as easy to read (usually) as any other. I've had many Japanese and Vietnamese, and Thai friends and we've had very few issues with communication. It's an entirely ... sure they can appear inscrutable at times. Especially for those of us who may be a tad extroverted lol.
