Sure. Teens, and especially younger teens, are emotionally weak to start with. Peer pressure, the opinions of others, etc all play a much bigger role than in an adult. When you put these teens into a social media environment, they are submerged in a world that is almost 100% based on the opinions and views of others. Bullying, taunting, etc can go on. And unlike the real world, there is really no way to get away from it.
