Answer :

Viruses cause disease in living cells and they are the smallest disease causing particles. They are only visible under electron microscope. Viruses are strict parasites. The living cell, which the virus attacks, is called the "the host cell". Outside the host cell viruses seem to non living.

Diseases: - Chicken Pox, Measles, Poliomyelitis, the common cold, mumps, influenza and AIDs are caused by viruses.
