(3) 86rd amendment in 2002 Explanation: The 86th amendment of 2002 inserted Article 21A in the Indian constitution, making right to education one of the fundamental rights. According to Article 21A, the State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of six to fourteen years.
