(3) Speaker of Lok Sabha Explanation: Article 108 of Indian Constitution prescribes the procedure for resolving a conflict between the two Houses of Parliament over a Bill through a joint sitting' of both the Houses. It empowers the President to summon a `joint sitting'. Such a joint sitting is presided over by the Speaker who is assisted by the Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha.
