I have my cowoker had been certified by VA-Long Beach for CNA but not the state. She or He can challenge to take a test without taking the course. can i take the cna test or purchase a study book to take the test. i wworked the past 5 years as a pt care tech and have my associates degree Yes, you can challenge the state to take the test for a CNA certificate without taking any courses, in the state of Florida, for example, it costs anywhere from $125.00 to $150.00.
