You can take educational classes for cpr online but you cannot get certified online. CPR is something you actually have to physically preform to get certified. There are on-line programs that offer CPR certification. The American Red Cross offers on-line CPR training for adults, children, and infants where the lessons and tests are all done on-line. There is then a final skill session that is done in person on a mannequin and with a Red Cross Authorized instructor, and once that is completed, you are certified. Another company, CPRToday, offers a certification that is done completely on-line, but is not accredited by the American Heart Association.
