Interesting question- it had newly become officially convertedto the Church of England under King Henry VIII, but 1547 was theyear in which he died. The early C of E had very little visible ornoticeable differences from the Catholic Church other than that itpermitted divorce, and Henry himself believed himself to be a RomanCatholic until he died. So the best answer would be that it wasOFFICIALLY Anglican, but in those days the practical differencesbetween the Anglican and Catholic Churches was marginal.
