Why do you need a print examination?
Official documentation must be certified by the seal and signature of an authorized person. Often, documents become objects of forgery, especially if they are associated with large transactions. Also, certificates, extracts, diplomas, and certificates are often forged. In order to verify the authenticity of the document and the stamp certifying it, it is sufficient to submit the seal imprint for examination to the Moscow Center for Expertise and Appraisal.
Having modern equipment, experience, knowledge, special materials, an independent expert can quickly identify any manipulations with a document, including fake printing.
What does the examination check?
A seal imprint for examination can be provided if you need to check:
How the stamp was printed;
Is the stamp applied with different seals;
How the printing was done;
What appeared earlier is a stamp, text, signature;
Whether manipulations were carried out with the impression - erasures, additional drawings, etc.
To check the seal imprint, you need to provide the original cliche, by which the expert can identify the stamp and make sure that it was he who was used to certify the document.
The study used over ten expert samples of cliche impressions made with different efforts and amount of ink. Also, the impressions affixed with a seal after washing are taken as a basis.
Authentication
Verification of the authenticity or reliability of a print begins with a detailed analysis of the document, which is done both in a simple visual way and through the use of a magnifying glass. The expert examines the location of the stamp, its semantic content, the correspondence of the text to the document and other details, the presence of grammatical errors, mirror signs. The morphological features of the coloring matter on the strokes are also studied. If traces of pens and other writing objects are visually detected, one can immediately say that the stamp is completely or partially drawn.
Expert conclusions
The opinion given by an independent expert is accepted as conclusive evidence in court proceedings. A specialist should evaluate the paper and stamp used. Expert prints that are used in the examination must exactly match the original document in all characteristics.
