Last Answer : You might wish to have the cooling system and radiator flushed, but how hot is awful hot. Sometimes running a bit lean can make an engine run hot. Also, if the radiator is not the correct one for the engine ... is pretty much all GM and it was an old 409, but I figure the basics are about the same.
