This can be done with a few simple steps. First, download an app from the Google Play store called DroidCam. Install this on your computer. The program can now access your camera on the phone in one of three ways, through a USB cable, your WiFi, or a WiFi server. To set this up through your WiFi, make sure the phone and the computer are connected to the same WiFi router in your home. Your computer can connect to the router through the RJ45 cable, but the phone has to connect through the WiFi to your home router. Once your phone is connected to your home WiFi, open the DroidCam on the phone and write down the IP address. This is very important, you'll need this IP address to enter it on your computer so the program on your computer can communicate with your phone. Go to your computer and open the DroidCam program. Find the setting for WiFi and enter the phone's WiFi IP address here. Now all you need to do is select audio and camera. Hit the start button and you are connected.
