Major issue with me is when I choose to have the light turned on for the video and I go to record and no light! It seems that if I have the option turned on and there is ample light, the iPhone will decide for me and not use it. When I move to a very dark scene, the light still doesn’t come on. To get around this, I start out with a dark scene. Also, I can use an app, such as FilmicPro where I can control how bright the light should be from the camera’s flashlight. No problems when creating videos from this app. There has been a few times initially where I was recording video indoors, then recorded walking outside and the video got blown out because the camera couldn’t adjust no matter what I did. Other than that, I feeling it is solid and the above issues I can work with them now that I know about them. I wish the interface with taking videos and photos were better. Choosing light for pictures or video can oftentimes be a battle. Third party apps resolves this. However, I do have to say that with the new sweater mode, I had taken a few pictures and the quality and appearance was as though I did use flash!
