What is osmoregulation?

1 Answer

Answer :

Before knowing osmoregulation you should know what is osmosis. Osmosis is a process in which transfer of fluids happens from lower concentration to higher concentration through a semi permeable membrane. As living organisms need fluids such as water to live their body has a characteristic feature which regulates the proper quantity of fluids and minerals through the process of osmosis and diffusion it is known as osmoregulation.
