Hello, I decided to play old videotapes on DVD (I would like to give it as a ********* present), unfortunately I am a complete amateur in this area, so I would need experienced advice. What do I need for that? What maximum quality can be achieved?

There are two ways to do this - connect the videotape to the DVD recorder with a cable and you can record without interruption. 2 - connect the videotape to a computer, either using an adapter or an external usb tv_card and a suitable software editor. After downloading, you can burn. The quality of such a digital recording is directly proportional to the quality of the source analog recording, where the richness of the cassette, the quality of the video player, or the shift of the head is signed.
