Musgrave Ranges is a mountain range in central Australia. It is located on both sides of the border of South Australia and the Northern Territory and further extends towards Western Australia. It is located between the Greater Victoria Desert in the south and the Gibson Desert in the north. It is 210 kilometers long and has many peaks that are higher than 1,100 meters. The highest of them is Mount Woodroffe with a height of 1,435 meters. The vegetation consists mainly of thickets of eucalyptus, yellow-capped and various grasses of the genus Spinifex.
