What can cause tendonitis? My hand has been pitying mercilessly for days, so I went to the doctor and found out I had tendonitis. He didn't really say almost anything else. The interesting thing is, I didn’t get hit anywhere, and I didn’t even pull or jerk my hand. So what could it be?

Answer :

Tendonitis is not because someone hits their hand or jerks it. It usually occurs when you perform the same series of movements over a long period of time, such as while working, and thereby continuously load the same joint or tendon sheath. Hairdressers, for example, also suffer relatively often from the way they use scissors, but even using a cell phone can be a problem.
