The world's largest freshwater fish is a prickly landscape. It was 2.4 meters long and had an estimated weight of somewhere between 320 and 360 pounds. Sure, that doesn’t mean there can’t be an even bigger specimen in freshwater, but so far that’s a record. So far, the Guinness Book of Records has, by the way, included a 300kg fish as a record holder, which has certainly toppled with this catch.
