Hello everyone! Who received doulas during pregnancy or childbirth? Were you happy with it? Does it mean serious spiritual help, or was there just one redundant person in the maternity ward?

1 Answer

Answer :

I didn't even know how to receive a doula until I was born, I was the first to meet with that word in the hospital. My roommate gave birth to me a few hours later and she had a doula. He told me a lot about it and it was actually quite convincing. She couldn’t have imagined her partner to be with her in the maternity ward because she needed an experienced person who could give her real help. This is not to be understood for childbirth, but for the spiritual-emotional part. He was in a particularly good position because he had a dear acquaintance, maybe a girlfriend in the dula, he had known him for years. I would consider accepting one today.
