Description : Once the tulips have blossomed and loss their petals, do I cut the stem down to the ground?

Last Answer : I generally alternate methods each year. I have been told that with daffodiils you should let the stems/leaves "naturally" die off and not cut them, and if they let messy then tie them down ... . I have never had a problem with great strong tulip/daffodil plants and super flowers every year.
