According to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Constitution of Bangladesh, all Bangladeshi persons under the age of 18 (18) are considered as children and children under the age of 14 (18) are considered as adolescents. It is considered child labor to employ or employ a child under the age of fourteen (14) during the school days in productive work without the written permission of his family. Or child labor refers to the time spent on child labor directly in productive work and indirectly in domestic labor. June 12 is World Child Labor Prevention Day.
