Cultivation is the process of preparing a piece of land or land for agriculture using different types of machinery and methods. This can be done by digging the soil , cultivating it with a plow or by plowing. Among the various methods of cultivation, some work can be done only with physical labor and with the help of small instruments. Shovel , spade , sickle , ax , ladder are notable among them. If you want to combine cattle and machinery, you can do it using plow with the help of cows and buffaloes. Everybody chooses small scale farming method if they want to do gardening or farming for small scale family , small business. However, large scale farming methods are followed only by large scale industries or agricultural establishments. Many times large organizations also cultivate on a small scale for the sake of necessity. Planting is usually of two types. Primary and secondary types. Although there is no such gap between them. So it is difficult to say what kind of cultivation is primary and what kind of cultivation is secondary. Usually in early stage cultivation (eg with plow) the land area is not very smooth. And in secondary cultivation the soil surface becomes much smoother. This method is more suitable for making seedbeds of many crops. In many cases planting is also seen in a combination of these two methods.
