It is used in the treatment of insomnia , also the patient is advised to take the medicine for epilepsy. The most common of these side effects of Disopan is related to degradation of the central nervous system. Dizziness occurs in about 50% of patients and ataxia in 30% of patients. In some cases this reaction may diminish over time. Behavioral problems were found in about 25% of patients and increased salivation in 8% of patients. Drowsiness , fatigue , confusion and dizziness. These usually go away during treatment , in rare cases there may be dry mouth , headache , hypersensitivity and shortness of breath. Overdose can lead to coma or even death, so the drug is not suitable for use without the advice of a physician.
