Answer :

The organ that produces germ cells is called gonad or genitalia. There are two types of gonads . Namely - testicles and ovaries. These are not glandular endocrine glands but some of the internal tissues of these organs act as endocrine tissues. Male and female bodies have testicles and ovaries respectively.
