Allah Ta'ala says: O you who believe! Fulfill your promises. Pets are made lawful for you. Except for the ones that are being explained to you , and it is illegal to hunt in Ihram. God commands whatever He wills. (Al-Maeda: 1) It is made lawful for you to eat four-legged animals. These eight types of animals are: Aries - male and female , goat - male and female , camel - male and female and cow - male and female. Also many animals have been made halal. For example , sheep , dumba , haas , chicken etc. He created eight kinds of animals: two from sheep and two from goats. Tell me , did he forbid both males and females or what is in the wombs of females ? Let me know if you are truthful. (Anam: 143) That is, among the cattle mentioned earlier, there are eight types of camels, cows and goats. He created them. None of this is forbidden by Allah. People are asking you what has been made halal for them. Say , "All good and pure things have been made lawful for you , and birds of prey, which Allah has taught you as you have taught them, so eat of what they have for you, and utter the name of Allah in it , and fear Allah." , Allah is swift in reckoning. (Al-Maeda: 4) According to the principles stated in the Sunnah, the animal that has teeth and the bird that does not have the nails of the bird of prey is halal. An animal with a predatory tooth refers to an animal that catches and eats prey with its predatory or biting teeth ; Such as tiger, lion , cheetah , wolf , dog etc. And the bird of prey's claws is the bird which catches prey with its sharp claws ; Such as vultures , hawks , eagles , kites , crows etc. All the food that Allah Ta'ala has made lawful for human beings has been highlighted in the above verse. Only those foods which are sacred and beneficial have been made halal for human beings. Elsewhere, Allah Ta'ala says: He makes lawful for them what is lawful and unlawful for them. (Surat al-A'raf: 156)
