: 12 pairs of nerves come out of the brain and 31 pairs of nerves come out of the spinal cord or spinal cord and are divided into more and more subtle branches and spread all over. These are collectively called peripheral nervous systems. The keratin nerves originating from the brain control the function of the eyes , nose , ears , tongue , teeth , face , heart , stomach and other organs. The nerves originating from the spinal cord move the limbs and carry all the sensations from the rest of the body to the brain.
