How do fireflies give light to insects ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Fireflies have luminescent organs on the back of their bodies . This organ secretes two chemicals called luciferage and luciferin . Luciferge is an enzyme that scatters light, meaning that it is the luciferge enzyme that causes fireflies to glow. And luciferin is heat resistant which keeps the light cool. When light is generated from an object , heat is generated there. Within half an hour of lighting the electric bulb, the bulb became very hot. However, energy saving lights generate less heat than ordinary bulbs. These are also less hot. That is why they are called energy savers. Ninety percent of the electricity consumed by ordinary electric bulbs is spent on heat generation. Light comes from the remaining ten. The energy saver generates heat. Much more than generates light. Energy saving also occurs in the case of fireflies. However, the energy saving power of fireflies is much higher than that of tube lights. In fact, the firefly's light is absolutely cold. So the firefly does not burn to ashes in its own light. Why does the firefly give light ? Fireflies do not light to see the way in the dark. The firefly's light is actually its language. But most insects cannot make sounds with their mouths. Some flutter their wings , some use their feet to communicate. Fireflies can't do that either. His only means of communication is his light. The firefly's light does not burn continuously. Once ignited and nave. Usually the signal lights of the sea also light up in this way. The firefly turns off the lights and sends signals to others. Meaning by exchanging ideas. Fireflies light up mainly for reproduction. Male fireflies light up as they fly. That is, it sends signals. Sends signal to wife firefly. The female fireflies then sit on the bushes or on the grass. Male firefly signals are caught in their brains. Wife Jonakira then responds to that signal. They also send signals. Noticing the signal, the man ran towards the firefly. Then the reunion. How can a wife firefly recognize the correct signal from hundreds of firefly signals ? In fact, every firefly's signal type is different. The wife firefly finds the man she likes . There are many species of fireflies in the world. Fireflies mate only in their own species. Every firefly can tell by looking at the type of light signal that it belongs to its own species or to another species. No female or male firefly responds to other species' light signals.
