: The glomerulus is an organ made up of a bunch of capillaries inside the Bowman's capsule of the nephron. The aphrodisiac arterial from the renal artery enters the capsule and forms about 50 capillaries. These again split into fine blood vessels. The glomerulus acts as a filter to produce filtered fluid from the blood.
