Everyone is fast asleep in the house No. 6, Road No. 32, Dhanmondi. Then it's time to change the guard at home. At home were Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali of all time , his wife Begum Mujib , sons Sheikh Kamal , Sheikh Jamal , Sheikh Russell , daughters-in-law and brother Sheikh Nasser. Bangabandhu's personal assistant AFM Mahitul Islam is on duty. He fell asleep at around 1 o'clock. Suddenly a phone call came. He picked up the phone in his sleep. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman himself was on the other side of the phone. It's five o'clock. Bangabandhu asked Mahitul Islam to contact the police control room. He has just received news that his brother-in-law Abdur Rab Sherniabat's house has been attacked. Mahitul dials the police control room but gets no connection. He then tried to connect with the Ganabhavan Exchange. Someone on the other side picks up the phone , but says nothing. Bangabandhu became restless and asked Mahitul Islam why he did not contact the police. Mahitul Islam told him the bad news - he could not communicate anywhere. Annoyed, Bangabandhu took the receiver from Mahitul Islam. "I'm talking about President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman," he said , and the glass of Mahitul Islam's office was shattered by gunfire. Bangabandhu did not realize then that the mission to kill him had begun. He also did not realize that he would not be able to see the dawn as the light of the sky was taking shape. - That dawn , the dawn that was darker than the darkest night. Habildar Mohammad Quddus Sikder was hoisting the national flag at the flag stand of Bangabandhu's residence with seven guards. That's when he heard gunshots. The guards quickly took up position behind the boundary wall. In front of them, black and khaki uniformed army men entered the house. "Hands up" - they shouted at the guards. That is the beginning of nightmares. Abdul, the son of Bangabandhu's servant, brought Bangabandhu's Punjabi and spectacles and gave them to Bangabandhu. After that, Bangabandhu shouted at the sentries - "There is firing all around. What are you doing ? ” Immediately he got up and went up to the other members of his family. Even the father of the nation did not know that this was his last meeting with his family. Another house helper Rama was sleeping on the verandah outside Bangabandhu's bedroom. It was five o'clock in the morning. Suddenly Begum Mujib came out of the house and said - "Abdur Rab Sherniabat's house was attacked. Rama jumped out of sleep. He ran restlessly towards the front gate and saw the army men heading towards house number 7 with weapons. Rama ran home again and went to Sheikh Kamal-Sultana's house. Sheikh Kamal was picked up and somehow informed about their attack. Kamal quickly came downstairs. Sultana takes Rama to other members of the family. Rama picked up Sheikh Jamal and his wife and broke the news. They all came to Begum Mujib's house. The sound of bullets all around. Sheikh Jamal heard someone screaming on the ground floor. Even then he did not know that this cry was of his elder brother Sheikh Kamal. Until then, Bangabandhu's son Sheikh Kamal is no more. Mahitul saw Sheikh Kamal coming down. He stood on the porch and shouted , " Army and police members , come with me." He wanted to understand the position of the attackers. Shortly afterwards, the killers came forward - three or four in black and khaki uniforms. Automatic weapons at West Level. They stopped right in front of Sheikh Kamal. Mahitul and Nurul Islam stopped behind. Mahitul can recognize Major Bazlul Huda. The army first shot Sheikh Kamal in the leg. Sheikh Kamal moved to the side of Mahitul Islam. Mahitul shouted - "Don't shoot him, he is Sheikh Kamal , son of Bangabandhu. Some bullets came from the members of the army and pierced Sheikh Kamal's chest. Asking the police to keep an eye on Mahitul and Nurul Islam, the killers rushed towards the first floor. After some time, Mahitul Islam heard Bangabandhu's loud voice. Then the sound of gunfire. Mahitul Islam could not imagine what was happening. He was just praying that nothing would happen to Bangabandhu. But Habildar Quddus saw the horrible incident happen before his eyes. According to the armies, Quddus followed them on the first floor. As soon as Huda and Noor set foot on the stairs, Major Mohiuddin and his troops moved in the opposite direction. They were accompanied by the greatest Bengali of all time Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Habildar Quddus was right behind Huda and Nur. When Nur said something in English, Mohiuddin and his soldiers moved away. Bangabandhu asked , " What do you want ?" No one answers. A bunch of bullets from Huda and Nur's weapon ran towards Bangabandhu. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman fell down the stairs silently. Blood , the blood of the father of the nation , kept flowing around and on the stairs . Still holding his favorite pipe in his hand. Mohiuddin , Nur , Huda and others proceeded to the south side of the house. Rama saw Bangabandhu being robbed by the bullets. Trembling, he entered the bathroom of Begum Mujib's room. Sultana Kamal , Sheikh Jamal , Rosie , Sheikh Russell , Sheikh Nasser were all there. Sheikh Naser's hand was bleeding. Rama Begum informs Mujib - Bangabandhu is no more. Shortly afterwards, the killers returned and began knocking on the door. Shoots at the door. Then Begum Mujib said , “ If we have to die, we will all die together. He opened the door. Army men took Sheikh Nasser , Sheikh Russell , Begum Mujib and Rama to the stairs. Begum Mujab cried when she saw Bangabandhu's body. He said - "I will not go forward , hit me here." The killers took Begum Mujib back to her house. Habildar Quddus saw another horrible scene in front of his eyes. Major Aziz Pasha and Risalahdar Muslehuddin started firing from Stengun. Begum Mujib , Sheikh Jamal , Sultana , Rosie went to Smriti in a moment . The killers took Sheikh Russell , Sheikh Nasser and Rama down and lined up with Mahitul. Sheikh Nasser said , “ I am not involved in politics. I do business for a living. ” An army officer tells Sheikh Nasser , " We will not do anything to you." Saying this, Sheikh Nasser was taken to the bathroom adjacent to Mahitul's office and shot. On the eve of his death, Sheikh Nasser was shouting 'water , water'. Another army officer went and fired at Sheikh Nasser again. Another life is over. The assassins then ascended and descended with Sheikh Russell. Bangabandhu's 10-year-old son once sought refuge with Rama and once with Mahitul. The child asks , " Brother , will they hit me too ?" Mahitul replied , " No , I will not kill you." Mahitul Islam had no idea what was going to happen next. An army officer came and removed Russell from Mahitul. Russell wants to go to his mother. Weeping Russell was taken by a Habila to Begum Mujib's body. Then a few more shots. Sheikh Russell's innocent little body also froze.
