What causes lunar eclipses ? And what is the reason for different phases of the moon ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun-Earth-Moon moves in a straight line. The point is that the moon is located on the opposite side of the sun where the light of the sun is obstructed on the surface of the earth and the shadow of the earth covers the chad. This is called lunar eclipse. And the reason for the different phases is that the sun, the earth and the moon all revolve in their orbits , on the other hand the light moves in a straight line and the reflection shows refraction so that the condition of one phase is visible for a certain angle at a time. For example, when we see the sun sinking or half sinking , it is actually before that time but the sun has set. Yet we can see the sun because the light of the setting sun is reflected in a less dense atmosphere and at a higher density means it comes down and falls on our eyes so we can see the sun.
