Why are male birds more beautiful ?

1 Answer

Answer :

Peacock has feathers , peacock does not. The peacock's blue-gold color blends splendor. You have to look in amazement. Not only peacocks , but many male birds are more beautiful than females of that species. But the general idea is that the female members of a species are more beautiful , and the males are rough. But many birds are exceptions. Why ? Scientist Charles Darwin has made many arguments on this subject in his 'Theory of Sexual Selection'. He wants to say that there are some differences between men and women as it helps in the evolution of a species . Many biologists believe that the purpose of this distinction is to protect the female partner from possible enemy attacks. In order to hatch a baby from an egg, the female bird has to sit on the nest all the time. At this time his self-defense system is almost non-existent. Therefore, the skin color of female birds is usually simple , so that they do not easily catch the eye of vultures. In contrast, their male companions have attractive colors and outfits. But these men are quite strong again. They have sharp lips and nails. Attracted by their colors, they have to hurry to attack any enemy. So no other enemy can touch them easily. As a result, female birds can hatch without any problems. In this way less beautiful female birds get special benefits in their breeding.
