Trans-Siberian Railways is the longest trans continental railways with 9332 km. • (i) It has helped in opening up its Asian region to West European markets. (iv) It transports machinery, wood finished products are sent to the western countries. (v) Coal, oil, wood, agro products from the forest are transported by this railways along with foodgrains.
