plant Lewisia cotyledon

1 Answer

Answer :

I have done some research on deer deterents, and the cheapest way I have found & it seems to work, is making a homemade batch. Recipe:  1 whole egg in 1 liter of water with a small amount of natural soap (Murphy oil), so it will stick, & a little of hot pepper. Blenderize it & I spray that on to the leaves of roses & fruit trees & just about anything you think they will eat. No ill effects on the plants I have ever seen. Reapply maybe every month or so. I have never seen deer eat Lewesia, but I have a buffet @ our house. Good luck
