Joann - trim the old stalks off and cut the remaining leaves about halfway down at an angle (they'll look like a fan). Then in July you can dig up the really big tubers and divide them. Using a sharp knife, cut the tubers at their joints, keeping the roots intact. Let them dry in the shade for a few days and replant, covering them about halfway with soil. These will make new plants come spring. Hope this helps!
