best time of year to transplant avocado tree?

1 Answer

Answer :

Avocados can be a little tricky. You want to plant them when the ground is still warm but before it gets too hot - think spring or early summer. Trees that have just been planted can have a hard time absorbing water and will be more susceptible to sun damage until they recover.
