answer:Did it screw up your values to watch the Flintstones when you were a kid? I’m pretty sure mine are a-okay and I watched the Flintstones all the time. Would you feel better if they changed the name from “slave boy” to “personal assistant” or worse “production assistant”? I don’t think it is a problem, to be honest. I enjoy watching older cartoons and children’s programming because they were made for adults to enjoy at least a bit as well. Newer programming often goes too far to children-ize and ends up being boring and mindless. If nothing else, this could be an opportunity to talk about the issue.
