answer:Cerulean Studios (publisher) has not yet announced their plans for a Pro/Basic system similar to Trillian 3. The blog that they maintain doesn’t indicate that there is any separation of features akin to a Pro/Basic tier structure. They have however indicated that the installer for Trillian 3 Basic now has “opt outs” for other services (something from Yahoo, and others) that pay part of their bills. This may also pay the bills for a single build (feature complete) of Astra. Regardless of any for-fee software, I would be surprised if there was no “Basic” SKU similar to Trillian 3, however.
